4 Unforgettable Statements Charlie Chaplin Left for Us

It was Charlie Chaplin’s birthday yesterday (please see this page too). He lived for 88 and worked for 76 years. He started working when he was only 12. If we agree that Einstein is the most famous scientist, we can say that Charlie Chaplin is the most famous actor and comedian ever. He has left us lots of memories and also so many quotes. But among all his quotes, 4 of them are what I call his evergreen quotes that work for all humans forever.

1. Nothing is forever in this world, not even our problems.

Charlie Chaplin himself has been battling with so many problems his whole life. Poverty was the first and biggest one. That’s why he started working when he was 12. However, as he says, nothing is permanent in this world, he became rich after many years of nonstop working. Nothing will work unless you do. If you want to end the problems, you must work.

And, there are a lot of problems that we must resolve. The biggest ones are humanity’s enemies that want to subjugate and eliminate us. The world is still in a deep sleep. I don’t know why politicians don’t wake the world up. I don’t want to talk negatively. But, there are big problems we must resolve before it becomes too late.

2. I love walking in the rain because no one can see my tears.

Even someone who is always after making people laugh has lots of sorrows. In spite of this, he keeps going, as Churchill also says, “If you’re going through hell, keep going.” We must keep going, even if we feel sad and broke inside. This is how Charlie Chaplin overcame his problems, and Winston Churchill enabled his people to win a war that they had almost lost.

3. The most lost day in life is the day we don’t laugh.

So let’s not have even one day that we haven’t laughed and we haven’t made each other laugh.

4. Six best doctors in the world: Sun, rest, exercise, diet, self-respect, friends. Stick to them at all stages in your life and enjoy a healthy life.

Maybe that’s why Charlie Chaplin lived for 88 years. Let’s not forget a man who spent his whole life making us happy. There is a lot to learn from him. I think the most important one is to keep going and be happy, although things don’t look good sometimes.

We achieve our goals, not immediately, but slowly, surely and definitely!
