Say Something Positive About Yourself

Bruce Lee's Secret to Positive Self-Talk

We always discuss our brains and thoughts on this website. Here’s the latest article that I would really love for you to read if you haven’t already: Reprogram Your Brain to Make It Make Your Life Glorious

I will delve further into the topics of the brain and thoughts because they are essential for all of us, including myself. We humans are forgetful. If we don’t remind ourselves of the important things we’ve decided to think about or do, we easily forget them, and we can easily find ourselves in the same mood or situation we didn’t like.

If there’s no one to motivate you, be your own biggest motivation. Don’t wait for others to come and make you feel better. Sometimes, they will never come. Sometimes, they only come when it’s too late. Opportunities can be missed very easily when we lack motivation and inspiration to make the most of them in our lives. They pass like clouds in the sky. You see them now, but you turn your head after a few minutes, and they’re gone. So, be your own biggest motivation and inspiration to keep going. You are worth it, and you can achieve better things in your life. As Winston Churchill says, “if you’re going through hell, keep going.” If you do so, soon you will find yourself in the land of freedom and peace, and you will pat yourself on the back and say, ‘you made it.’

Here’s today’s short talk. Today, I’d like to reference something that Bruce Lee once said. After watching the 20-second video below, I’d like you to post a comment and say something positive about yourself, even if it’s just a short sentence. Please do it because Bruce Lee says,

Don’t speak negatively about yourself, even as a joke. Your body (brain) doesn’t know the difference (your brain doesn’t recognize that you are joking. It takes it seriously). Words are energy and cast spells. That’s why it is called spelling. Change the way you speak about yourself and you can change your life. What you are not changing, you are choosing.
