Wasting Your Money on Garbage or Investing It for Your Freedom?

Stop Wasting Money on Garbage! Invest for Your Freedom!

We cannot blame successful companies like Apple—they are outstanding and innovative. They have changed the lives of millions. The fact that you are reading this post, using your phone or computer, from anywhere you like, and the ability to work online from the comfort of your home, are all thanks to the efforts and innovations of companies like Apple. They have positively transformed our lives, and we are grateful for this. However, everything must be done with control and calculated risk.

For example, having a smartphone is essential for many people these days. But does that mean we must spend large amounts of money on a new smartphone as soon as it’s released, even when the one we already have is still functional and good enough?

I have had an iPhone 8 for several years. Before that, I had an iPhone 6. I only upgraded to the iPhone 8 when my iPhone 6 broke and stopped working. There are some apps I need on my phone, and I like its camera, video, and voice recorder. That’s it, and my current phone does everything I need. If I were to spend a large sum of money to get the latest iPhone 16 Pro Max, it could only be for one reason: to show off!

I apply the same mindset to other things, like cars. The reason is that attracting attention by owning special and expensive items doesn’t satisfy me or increase the level of dopamine in my blood. I follow wise people like Warren Buffett, who doesn’t even own a cell phone, despite being one of the richest people in the world and having held that title for several years. When asked why he doesn’t have a cell phone, he says he doesn’t need one because as long as he’s in the office, there’s a telephone, and when he goes home, he enjoys making popcorn and watching TV. He still lives in the same house he bought in 1958 for $31,500 and drives a 2014 Cadillac.

Showing off doesn’t take us anywhere. It only wastes our money. Instead of showing off, we should save and invest our money to generate passive income, become financially free, retire early, and avoid working until the end of our lives.

I’ve seen people living in rental apartments, struggling to pay their monthly rent, yet driving a Mercedes-Benz. Is this wise? Definitely not. It’s insane. You’ll realize how foolish it is when you understand that the large sums of money spent on luxury are often the result of a scam. The video below explains how it only costs $10 for the company to produce an iPhone 14. The video isn’t new, and at the time, the iPhone 14 was the latest model. But the principle remains the same. Can you imagine that producing an iPhone 16 Pro Max costs only $10, yet you have to pay $1,599 to buy it?

It’s not just about phones and electronics—it’s the same with everything you buy:

So, don’t let others rob you of your hard-earned money. Act broke. Delete food delivery apps. Drive a modest car. Live in a cheap apartment. Keep a simple wardrobe. Ignore people’s judgment. Stack cash. Invest, invest, invest. Set yourself up for life: Achieving Financial Freedom: A Step-by-Step Guide to Building Passive Income

We achieve our goals, not immediately, but slowly and surely!
