I’m an extroverted introvert. One of the benefits — and we’re talking HUGE benefits — of being retired is that I’m no longer expected to attend social work functions. OMG, I dreaded those events!! Small talk. Ugh! Too many opportunities to make a fool of myself. Fortunately, I always had my camera if I needed to hide. Still, I love socializing with my group of friends and have no problem talking to strangers one-on-one. It’s large groups of strangers that give me the heebs. I spend a lot of time alone. Photography, painting, writing… they’re all pretty introverted hobbies.
Hey Judy, I’m more of an introvert, as I spend a lot of time doing my own thing, but I like a good laugh with company. I post the very occasional photo in the photo groups, but I find this more of a place to chat than a photo share. Maybe I’ll start posting more. I’ve got thousands!! 🙂

I am definitely an introvert! I love to be around people and listen mostly to their conversations. Although I teach, and have been a DJ, I still feel happy in my own company!

I am also an introvert as I developed inferiority complex growing up in school. It was hard for me to mingle with my classmates and I preffered to stay alone.
As a professional, I am trying to overcome being introvert although it is quite impossible to become extrovert for me.
I don’t think you need to overcome being an introvert, just learn to live with it and develop skills that will help you do what you want to do! The world needs both introverts and extroverts!!!

Hey Jo I have never heard of an extroverted introvert. That is cool. I think there are a lot of those. I am not, but wish I could be. Did you ever do anything on here with your photography?
