Why do you have to “put your two cents in”

Its a penny for your thoughts and put your two cents in, but silence is golden.

Giving the two cents I have, is just a matter of sacrifice. And also I understand, there is much blessings in giving than receiving.

Well, let’s see….. “A penny for your thoughts “…. people want to know what your input is but they don’t want to pay much or this saying came around when money was worth more.

When someone, “puts in my two cents”, people want to make sure their input is worth more because they are giving it out.

In either case, talk can be cheap! 🤪😉

You really don’t have to put your two cents in. You can keep it to yourself.

This saying is true to a point.But I think that it’s being stated, meaning that when people are in conflict and someone tries to calm it,that is when we hear Who told you to put your two cents in it.

Because your 2 cents is not worth a lot. That’s why it’s cents. It’s your opinion.
