Winter is marked by Cold Temperatures and Snow
Everything looks miserable, gloomy and depressing. Day light hours are shorter and nights are long. Everyone will be wearing hoodies and jackets to keep warm.
As spring arrives we gradually remove hoodies, temperatures gradually increase, marking the transition from the cold of winter to the warmer weather.The amount of daylight gradually increases as spring progresses. Everything becomes lively again. Trees and plants begin to bud and blossom and vegetation starts to grow again.
Animals that would have hibernated or migrated during the winter re-emerge. Happy days- everything looking beautiful again.

I have never heard of this day. The calendar has so many days that is happy something day every day. I like it because it’s all positive❣
I rotate stacking bins for storage. Winter is packed and summer is in dresser & closet. I love unpacking summer. A lot of times, I buy after a season and get a great deal but pack it away. It’s a fun way to pack & unpack. 😁
I don’t recall this holiday in our nation, it’s not been widely celebrated or recognized, it can be a fun and lighthearted way to break up the monotony of winter and bring a smile to people’s faces. It can also be a way to connect with others in your community and celebrate the changing of the seasons this should be implemented in our nation.. .Happy hoodie hoo day ..

Never heard of it tbh but hey, seasons don’t really bother me apart from the ones which cause chaos on the roads! Britain is never properly prepared for winter,humongous heat or even heavy downpours of rain! But there you go…. enjoy the new shoots and sun and my wife will begin planting her crops in our mini allotment!
