Why doesn’t EVERYBODY give a thumbs up on these answers?

It just dawned on me to ask this, though I ask myself every time! When we go to read and answer a question, and read the other answers, I don’t need to like them to tap on thumbs up, but I do. Why don’t you?

Hi Kevin, sometimes I notice you give me a thumbs up vote on my comments and I thank you for that. I give a thumbs up when I tend to agree very strongly on a comment and I find myself nodding my head,lol!

I think, giving thumb up or not, depends on one’s opinion and also understanding of the sentiment.

I think if one just gives everyone a thumbs up it becomes meaning less. A great answer deserves a thumbs, i can admit sometimes i forget to select the thumbs up when i read a great answer but not on purpose. Personally i would rather get no thumbs up then one given just because!!

I give thumbs up to answers I like. Usually when someone answers my questions I give thumbs up.
