What is the one childhood memory that stands out to you?
I remember when I was a little girl my mother would take me to the store and tell me to get whatever I wanted she done this on and off for years. What made this stand out was that fact that my mother only did that with me. My siblings didn’t get that treatment they were upset about it and I didn’t understand why until I got older and was told that my mother thought that I may had a different father than my siblings. She was having a moment I guess she felt bad about what she had done and I think she just wanted me to feel loved and of course I did. I’m interested to know what is one of your childhood memories that stands out to you? Please Explain!!
At the fairgrounds with all my cousins, having a grand time.
You are welcome!
My childhood was spent a lot with my maternal grandparents, mainly my grandmother. Summertime was bound to have some pool parties with live bands. Black Berry Smoke… yeah they played there before they became known and famous. Staying with my grandmother I was free to do whatever my heart desired and was an outlet for me… another story for another day.
Sound like you had fun with your grandparents. Thank you Jenni for your comment
When I was a little girl, I was very adventurous and I would always be running up and down the street I lived on. Roller blading, or riding my bike. Pretending to be something. My mom would have to yell for me when it was time to come home. Children can’t freely run and play nowadays. But, that was fun…. no distractions of electronics. Just pure fun, and my imagination!🥰
Those days were the good old days. Thank you Andrea for your heart felt comment
Of course lady!!!
Most of my childhood experience I can say cannot be forgotten. During our time there was no electricity, no gadgets and no online banking and everything that we have now. There was really a great difference between the life during our time and at the present. Thats why I cherish all my childhood memories that are incomparable with the current generation.
Ok I know I remember them days when didn’t have nothing to play with. Me and my siblings would make mud paddies and pretend we had a burger or piece of pie of course we didn’t eat it . Just had great play pretend. Thank you Epifania for heart felt comment
