🌲 September is the onset of Yuletide season. In the Philippines the song “Christmas in our Hearts” is usually played in a TV, radio phones etc on the first day of September to welcome the start of the Christmas celebration. I heard this song twice played in a filipino radio station on Guam one in the morning and afternoon.

I usually don’t hear Christmas songs around here until November. One radio station only plays Christmas songs from the beginning of November until just after boxing day. The one I hear the most is The Most Wonderful Time of the Year sung by Andy Williams.
Philippines starts in September playing Christmas songs and the “Christmas in our Hearts” has been traditionally played every September first. Filipinos are known to be a happy people inspite of its economic difficulties. Thank you Judy for sharing your thoughts.

There is a variety of Christmas music that is played here. 12 days till Christmas, Jingle bells and one new one called Santa Clause is a black man just to name a few..

Its sung by a little girl one of the verse goes ” Momma must of met Santa Claus before cause she hugged him at the door” The moral to the story is that the little girl figures out that Santa Claus is her dad, and of course she’s black hinds the title of the song.
