When I was a child I have so many person that I look up to, but as I matured the list came down to no one.
I am so sorry to hear you don’t have anyone to admire as an adult. Leanna you are a person who must be admired. I certainly admire you!❤️❤️
Oh, I am still sorry you mentioned a wrong name, joke only.
Duh….I’m sorry my dear Fannie. I’m reading one and answering another. Forgive me
Firstly I look up to God and this is my reason why:
1. Transcendence: God is often seen as a transcendent being who exists beyond the limitations of the physical world. Believers may look up to God because they perceive Him as a source of transcendental wisdom and guidance that surpasses human capabilities.
2. Spiritual Connection: Many people seek a deep spiritual connection with a higher power, and for them, God represents the ultimate source of spiritual fulfillment and inner peace.
3. Moral and Ethical Authority: Some individuals turn to God as the ultimate moral and ethical authority. They believe that God’s commandments and teachings provide a solid foundation for living a righteous and virtuous life.
4. Hope and Comfort: In times of adversity and uncertainty, people often find hope, solace, and comfort in their belief in God. The belief that God is watching over them and caring for their well-being can provide emotional support.
5. Purpose and Meaning: For many, God represents the purpose and meaning of life. Believing in a divine plan or purpose can give individuals a sense of direction and significance in the grand scheme of existence.
6. Eternal Perspective: God is often associated with eternity and the afterlife. Looking up to God can provide assurance and a sense of perspective on the temporal nature of earthly concerns.
7. Community and Tradition: Cultural and religious traditions often emphasize the importance of looking up to God. Being part of a religious community that reveres God can provide a sense of belonging and shared values.
8. Faith and Trust: Belief in God is an expression of faith and trust in a higher power. It signifies a surrender of personal control and a willingness to accept divine guidance.
Secondly I look up to my mom and whomever had a positive impact on my life, but I also have to be cautious about what I take in and these are my reasons why;
Positive Aspects:
1. Mentorship and Guidance: Emulating someone you admire, such as a boss or a mentor, can provide valuable guidance and a source of inspiration. They can help you learn from their experiences and make better decisions in your own life or career.
2. Learning from Role Models: Family members or friends who exhibit qualities you admire can serve as role models. Emulating their positive traits can lead to personal growth and development.
3. Building Strong Relationships: Looking up to and emulating family and friends can strengthen your bonds with them. It can create a sense of shared values and goals within the family or friendship circle.
4. Career Advancement: Emulating a successful boss or colleague in a professional context can help you advance in your career. You can learn valuable skills, work habits, and strategies for success.
Cautionary Aspects:
1. Individual Differences: While emulating others can be valuable, it’s essential to recognize that everyone is unique. What works for one person may not work for another. It’s important to maintain your authenticity and adapt advice to your own circumstances.
2. Avoid Blind Imitation: Blindly emulating someone without critical thinking can be problematic. It’s important to assess whether the qualities or behaviors you’re emulating align with your values and goals.
3. Balancing Individuality: While looking up to others can be beneficial, it’s equally important to maintain your individuality and not lose sight of your own dreams and aspirations. You should strive to be the best version of yourself, not a replica of someone else.
4. Unhealthy Comparisons: Constantly comparing yourself to others, whether family, friends, or a boss, can lead to feelings of inadequacy or insecurity. It’s crucial to strike a balance between inspiration and self-acceptance.
