There are many religions.I was raised a Catholic and am still one.I don’t attend church, but I maintain a relationship with God.That connection is important. These days, many people have fled these religions because of their involvement in the opposite of the things they preach, and the fact that there are very unloving and evil folks attending these so called places of worship.Spirituality is there along with the connection with God.
Religion can have both positive and negative aspects, and its impact can vary greatly depending on individual beliefs, practices, and the specific religious group in question. For many people, religion provides a sense of community, moral guidance, and comfort. It can promote values like compassion, charity, and forgiveness.
However, religion has also been associated with conflicts, discrimination, and extremism in some cases. It’s important to approach this question with nuance and recognize that the effects of religion are diverse and can differ significantly from person to person and culture to culture. Ultimately, whether religion is seen as good or bad can be a matter of personal perspective and experience.
It is good to identify with a religion. That is when you get connected to the universe and your fellow human being, spiritually, mentally and emotionally. The moral value part of life such as sympathy and empathy also gets to develop in your soul and spirit. In religion your conscience will be able to way between moral and immorality and definitely go for the latter.
