It’s National Macintosh Day!

Remember, those old boxes that stored documents and kickstarted the age of the Internet? Yeah, those things?

Do you remember your first one?

I remember we had one as a little one in the late 80s-90s, and it did all the basic word documents and a couple of games. My, how times have changed…

The first desktop computer I had A.O.L. dialup for internet. Now you can Imagine how old that was. It was so slow to get going. Even after it did still was slow. I glad don’t have to go through that any more.

I remember it well. It was a Tandy from Radio Shack. Things have changed tremendously since then. I taught my son to use the thing when he was very little. He’s now a front end developer at a major U. S. University and we reminisce about that computer occasionally.

I had desktop computers in school when I had been assigned to take a class in data entry. That was during the 80s.I don’t remember the name of the computers we used but we did our schoolwork with that.

For sure it was a gateway computer. Having a computer then was one of the best feelings ever especially because I was around 9.
