The Best Scientific Discovery, Achievement or Invention

Everyone talks about artificial intelligence (AI) nowadays. Most people think that AI is the biggest and most important invention. Yes, it can change humans’ lives dramatically, but that doesn’t mean it is the greatest scientific achievement. AI provides services; it is a worker. Humans can also perform tasks that AI does. The difference is that humans are slower and require compensation for what AI can do for free. Giving service is what AI does. Therefore, it is not the most significant achievement, discovery, or invention.

Are the lightbulb, control and utilization of electricity, computer, internet, etc., the greatest discoveries, achievements, or inventions?

While these are also remarkable, they do not represent the pinnacle of human achievement. From my perspective, the greatest scientific discovery is one that enhances humans’ understanding of the universe and provides a more precise and accurate insight into the world around us. It is something that enables humans to think, act, and live better, evolving into superior beings compared to what they were before. The greatest scientific discovery, achievement, or invention is more than just a service provider; it is integral to our existence. We could survive without these services. Lamps or computers are indeed valuable, and we appreciate them, but they have not helped us gain a broader understanding of the universe, elevate our thinking, or become better humans.

Albert Einstein and his theory of relativity propelled us significantly forward and changed our perspective on the world and the universe. However, while relativity is truly remarkable and astonishing, merely understanding it, even in detail, does not inherently make one a better human being. You may find enjoyment in learning about it, but it does not necessarily contribute to personal growth. Therefore, Einstein’s theory of relativity also does not represent the greatest scientific discovery or achievement.

What is it then?

A long time ago, I published an article here about Wolfgang Pauli and his discovery known as the Exclusion Principle or Pauli Principle. Please refer to that article to delve into Pauli’s insights in greater detail. I won’t reiterate it here. Instead, I aim to explain why this discovery stands as the greatest scientific achievement of all time. It is a revelation that can impact every facet of your life, fostering personal growth, and influencing business and social interactions.

What Pauli unearthed at that time, earning him the Nobel Prize in 1945, is exceedingly complex on paper and, when mathematically formulated, even befuddled Einstein. However, you need not be a quantum physicist to grasp the essence of this theory, which can elevate you to extraordinary heights.

Pauli demonstrated that every particle in the universe, even the smallest ones, possesses a distinct and unique code that sets it apart from others. Even the tiniest particles composing atoms bear unique codes. This means that in a universe that has existed for about 15 billion years, you cannot encounter two electrons that are identical because their codes differ.

For those acquainted with the vastness of the universe and the myriad particles comprising it, the Pauli Principle proves to be profoundly captivating and compelling. Yet, the fact that each particle possesses a unique code remains just one aspect of its intrigue. The most captivating facet of this established theory, the Pauli Principle, asserts that the unique code inherent to each particle is not immutable; it can change. However, does this imply that altering the code of a particle could render it identical to another particle’s code?

No! This is the most fascinating aspect of the Pauli Principle, one from which everyone can glean a valuable lesson. To comprehend it, allow me to provide an example. Let’s consider an apple composed of trillions of particles. Among these particles, let’s select one—say, an electron—and dub it ‘Eric.’ Now, let’s assign Eric the special, unique, and specific code of 23, for instance. The initial assertion of the Pauli Principle is that there exists no other particle in the universe with a code of 23; Eric alone bears this code throughout the cosmos. However, if we rub the apple with our hands, slice it into pieces, or transform it into apple jam, Eric’s code will change—let’s say to 26—due to the energy imparted by these physical alterations. Now, the question arises: What happens to another particle in the universe, potentially billions of light-years away, whose code was also 26?

Can Eric and this distant particle both possess the code 26? No, according to the Pauli Principle, they cannot. Instead, when Eric’s code changes from 23 to 26 due to the energy input, the other particle, situated billions of light-years away, which previously held the code 26, will simultaneously and automatically undergo a change. Its code will become something other than 26, ensuring it does not match Eric’s.

Isn’t this mind-boggling?

Are these two particles connected to each other? Apparently not. But quantumly, yes. All particles of the universe are connected (entangled) to each other, quantumly.

Do you grasp the significance? It implies that every action we undertake here, no matter how seemingly insignificant—be it rubbing an apple, discarding waste, scratching your skin, blinking, eating, sneezing, laughing, crying, speaking, or countless other seemingly trivial actions—can reverberate across other parts of the universe. This realization, if internalized, has the potential to transform an individual into an extraordinary being, a feat unmatched by any computer or other invention.

People often believe that their actions hold no significance, assuming they won’t be recorded anywhere and won’t have repercussions. However, quantum physics has disproven this notion. One individual, named Wolfgang Pauli, was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1945 for demonstrating this. He articulated this principle in a manner that even astonished Einstein. It’s not something one can dismiss as false or mythical; it is real.

The actions we take, whether positive or negative, have an impact on the universe and eventually return to us, whether we anticipate it or not. Those who engage in scams such as Ponzi schemes or crypto-rug-pull schemes with hopes of amassing wealth are mistaken. They won’t find riches; instead, they will find themselves in despair. Conversely, those who strive to improve the lives of others, even by offering small assistance that could alleviate some burden, will emerge victorious. They may not become wealthy, but the good deeds they perform will find their way back to them in ways unimaginable.

Leveraging AI and advanced technologies, the LuckScout Community algorithm can now distinguish between these two groups. It increasingly rewards the first group, while gradually sidelining the second group.
