Since I been alive since before cellphones. The answer is people would adapt something we naturally do.
That’s true people will definitely adapt to it.
I remember my world before cell phones and although they are used and needed for many things I feel that a world without them would make the world a better place to live in. People would have to get up and go see people to talk to them. More gardens would be grown and more books would be read. Time wouldn’t feel like it’s passing us by because cell phones make the world seem like it’s in a marathon. I would rather get a heartfelt handwritten letter than an afterthought or mid-thought or careless thought of a text. A letter is more meaningful, or the presents of a loved one next to you or the excitement of a planned get-together when the letter was received. I dont know call me old fashioned.
It may be old fashioned but it’s the absolute truth. I love your thought on this!

Life without cellphones….I think back when I was a field tech and without cellphones I was using pagers – which at the time was the coolest thing. However, when I needed to use a phone while I was on the road, I would pull over and use a public phone. I remember one time when I did pull over for a public phone and I put the receiver against my ear, I felt something wet and thick, smooshie. I felt so disgusted. Addition, the inconvenience to pull over to make a phone call. Another time, when I used a public phone, a bird drop a bomb on me. Once, I was lost in San Francisco and pulled over to use the public phone many times. Sleepless cities such as San Francisco, it was always hard to find parking, most times you would pay for parking just to use a phone or park a few blocks and walk to a public phone…..So when cellphones came about, I was one of the happiest individuals in the world. Today, when I lose track of my cellphone, I go bezerk.
