Should One Have A Joint Bank Account With Her Partner?

With a married couple who both have trust in each other, I think it’s fine to have a joint bank account. Otherwise, such as in two partners living together but not married, it would be a hard no for me. I’ve known several people who got themselves into a huge mess by sharing an account.
