Once when I was a little girl I remember this as if it happened yesterday. It was broad daylight my dad was listening to his music and I was playing with my beach ball throwing it back and forth against the wall. When suddenly you hear this loud bang at the door it was so loud it made me jump, but that wasn’t what scared me the most. It was what happened next when my dad opened the door there wasn’t anyone there and he answered immediately. He also check the back door nothing no sign of anybody or anything that’s what scared me the most. So my dad concluded the noise must of been me throwing my ball against the wall, but that wasn’t it I had been throwing my ball for a while before that happened. I think my dad just was trying to ease my fear or his.
To be honest no but I still wonder what that was never did find out.
It was a mask that my family had in the house we lived in. It was called Ghostalivia .It looked like a witch’s face. It was very scary and ugly! Our family told us, that Ghostalivia would get us, if we were bad. We tossed the mask around to keep from having it. It was very scary and funny at the same time. We actually thought at one point, that this was really true and real!
I used to be afraid that Freddy Kruger would appear.
I bloody hated that guy. Watching Elm St as an 8yr old was the biggest mistake of my childhood.
Recently watch the first film again – the graphics are so dated it was laughable, I can’t believe I was duped by such nonsense.♂️
Lol. Same. I was able to shake it off over the years but it was not easy.
Oh my gosh, Freddy Krueger used to terrify me! Just the thought of him showing up in my dreams gave me major chills. Those claws and that burnt face? Scary stuff!

That sounds really scary! I can imagine how freaked out you must have been. It’s funny how our minds try to come up with explanations, even if they don’t quite fit. Did anything like that ever happen again?
