Is a Horse considered as a Pet or a Livestock?

Livestock

A horse is both

A horse is a pet and a livestock

I think it’s both, to some it’s livestock while to some it’s a pet

🐴 It can be both, really! 🤔

– As pets: Some people keep horses as companions or for recreational riding 🐾

– As livestock: Horses are often raised for work, breeding, or meat production 🐮

Livestock I think

I think both, l was thinking anything that can’t live in the house or apartment.

if i had a horse i will take it as a pet for me

Growing up in the USA, the road I grew up on had multiple horse farms, and was used more so for livestock then. I feel like today, horses are more pets than livestock. Horses are not used like they used to be.

Horses can be both some people consider horses to be pets although they can be livestock too.

I would consider it as livestock

I think both. They’re considered livestock but that doesn’t mean they can’t also be pets. I don’t own a horse now but I have had one in the past and he was definitely a dearly loved pet.

, both

Well, it’s should be a means of transport. But for some horse owners in these days it’s a pet.

They can be either, I think. Lots of people definitely keep them solely as pets. But many horses are owned as investment for racing or working too. We don’t in the UK as standard but I know they are even eaten elsewhere.

I would consider livestock, however, there are some that would say a pet.

Horses are livestock to some people but mostly I think I would consider them as pets, I’m from the uk and we don’t eat horses as standard. In a survival situation anything becomes food but in the world I live in I would never eat a horse. Business wise I do think many people use them as livestock.
