Over the years the values of society seem to have changed and people don’t seem to see to care as much about marriage or think it holds any important when it comes to relationships and staying together once you have made that vow. People get divorced over and over rather than working on marriages like people used too, what is your view on this?
“Marriage is overrated.” (NOT! People are!)
“People fall out of love all of time.” (Truth is, they weren’t loving TRULY to begin with, because there’s no such thing)
“Well, ya know people change and grow apart.” (People actually don’t change all that much. They rushed into marriage without first courtship, they spontaneously got hitched in Las Vegas, or did it because they felt it was the right think to do for what/whomever’s sake, etc.)
It doesn’t matter if individuals choose to believe it or not, acknowledge it or not, follow by it or not, there is one bottom line at the beginning and end of the each day.
That is everything only works ONLY ONE way! Not 3 ways, not 1 way & ½, ONLY ONE way.
Marriage is a very important matter, just as everything else, that does not, that cannot, and that will not ever work without the Creator who Masterminded the blueprint of the sacred marriage covenant. Mankind have drifted so far away from Almighty God Jehovah and forgotten or ignored the teachings and ways of His Son, Our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus that they’ve permanently adopted their own preferences, their own ways of doing things, & own manners of leading themselves, attempting to live “on bread alone.”
THAT’S the reason people are getting divorced left and right. THAT’S what’s wrong with this entire world today. All of the chaos, commotion, & uncivilized people running amok! It has nothing to do with the tradition of humans. Marriage has everything to do with the sacred meaning, the purpose, the grounds, the Holy Matrimony, the sacred covenant, and the rules laid in place by the Most High of ALL His creations.
There’s no such thing as getting a divorce due to “Irreconcilable Differences” or because “…fell outta love.” At least not according to God’s laws, which are and are supposed to come first before the law of the land. Then people have the audacity to wonder why their 4th, 7th, & second marriages fail, giving credit to other man-made reasons, instead of where credit is respectfully due.
People allow the law of the land to mislead them into thinking it’s okay to just get divorced and remarry. This is because the lawmakers and enforcers are only concerned about the money they can make off of it. If they were following God’s law, there would be a whole lot of people still married til this day. Then again, there’d just may be plenty more adulterers for the sake of getting out of marriages.
In hindsight, that is the absolute case at hand, just NOT according to those living on land.
Incredibly terrible the manners in which people think. Although, I’m not stunned.
Therefore, I must conclude that people aren’t getting divorced too much these days. They’re getting divorced right at the perfect rate of speed, which should continue to gradually increase, becoming more and rapid without God as the 1st string to keep them bonded.
That ok Catherine,it was a trouble marriage anyway im just glad its over. Now i can start my life over again a new start.
I think a majority of people who gets divorce is 50/50 chance. During the old times, I think people were more serious and committed unlike today ‘s generations. Unlike today’s alot more kids were born back in early 1800s and 1900s by one marriages not two.
Hello Whitney,
Yes I agree with that in the old days people take marriage more serious and kids are born in one marriage.
Thank you Whitney for your response
Do you think too many people get divorced?
yes I do. people also need to understand that even if you get a divorced your still married to the first person you married until one of you die so you 2nd marriage or 3rd marriage doesn’t count cause your still married to the first person in God’s eyes.
Yes I agree completely I do not think you can be remarried.
Yes, a lot of people are getting divorced lately.
They really are almost half of marriages end up in divorce
True.
Yes i know it is ashame it made me really unhappy once. Im just glad that its over and I’ve moved on with my life. I maybe single and a little feeling a little lonely sometimes, but im happy and free to do what i want. I’ve not giving up on love, i will one day i will meet love again. But for now its time to make money and start a business. Thats my goal maje money and start a business!!
Yes I think love is most likely to find you when you are not looking and focusing on your own needs too! Good luck with your business
I think divorce is very casual here in the USA. I feel like divorce is taught; for many it is a generational curse. Many people give up on each other too easily, no one wants to own up to their mistakes and work out their differences, and infeldity and money is the driving force on why people get divorced.
Same here I’m the uk it is as if it is nothing, such a shame something that should hold such a high value has been made to seem like nothing but a piece of paper.
No I think it’s just the opposite in today’s society there are not very many people getting married.
I think it’s better to not get married unless you mean it but I don’t think family’s should be not married.
I’m not sure but I’m seeing mush too many couples getting divorced these days. I know believe me I’m one..lol About 4 years now for me.
It is a shame, I do wish everybody could find the one and stay happy but I know the world doesn’t work through rose tinted glasses!
I think divorce does happen too often, it’s become almost casual. There are perfectly average people on their third marriage.
It’s known to have lasting effects on the mental health of children when parents seperate, well into adulthood.
Traditional strong families benefit society greatly. I know that there can be a point of no return and remaining in a marriage can be harmful, but people should have tried everything in their soul to honour those vows.
Yes I agree I think lots of people either marry without thinking about what it actually should mean or they don’t try to make their marriage last. Everything is so easy to give up these days people don’t think about the children, it’s really sad

Very difficult too!
