I would personally choose FT in-home care or hire help so my loved one can stay at home with me as their main caretaker. Unfortunately, my opinion is swayed by what I have seen with family members and their ultimate decline when they were moved from their place of long-term residence to a nursing facility.
I’d have to say in home nursing assistant. I do not like the though of nursing homes because before my husband’s grandmother passed that’s where she was, and she did not get treated all that well. Not saying that all people there are bad, but there’s so many bad things I’ve read or heard about and it sickens me to know about.
