I personally can only think of the things I should have done or said differently to let them know how much i loved them.

Once we know we will never see someone again, we tend to miss them a lot more and maybe wish we spent more time with them and done some things differently. Maybe we wish we would have appreciated the time we had together more than we actually did.
Yes, that is true Mitzi people don’t realize what they have until it is gone that’s when reality kicks in anyway thanks for sharing
Because of all the memories we hold on to of that person and we will never get to see, touch, or anything with that person again.
