Do you want to have a say in your engagement ring?

Uhm?? Aaahh?? Well…I think that’s a question for all the pretty looking Girly-girls. I’m just a man and a big spender!!

Technically I had a say. I showed my husband, when we were dating, the type of engagement ring I really wanted which was a heart shaped opal ring and he secretly got it for me and had my daughter bring it to me when she was 4 years old and he told me just say yes lol. So it was a surprise, but it was the ring I fell in love with.

I didn’t pick mine but I didn’t care I was just happy and I loved it  😊

I would never want to be engaged but if I would, I would not want to have any say in which ring is picked because it’s more about what the ring would represent instead of what it looks like or how much is spent.

I don’t think you should have a say in it because it’s not about what your engagement ring looks like. Engagements are about committing to a lifetime of love and when you look at that ring it should be a constant reminder of the love that you share with your significant other and the time you plan to spend together for life not what it looks like that really shouldn’t matter.

I wasn’t a big fan of yellow gold in the past, so I only mentioned that it would be nice to have white gold on my finger 😀

I did not have a say on my engagement ring. I was a surprise. I think it’s more exiting when it is a surprise
