I don’t usually celebrate because my birthday is New Year’s Eve so as long as I get to pop some fireworks I’m all good lol.

My son’s birthday is the day before so since he was born I haven’t paid much attention to my birthday, my other half always does something but I don’t ever go over the top.

I last 5 years I chose to celebrate with my kids and then solo . Previous to that I always had a party and someone always ruined it .

As I got older, i dont really celebrate it as much. I live along and like being alone most of the time. My landlady who is more like a girlfriend takes me out to a steak dinner every year for my birthday. I am ok with that.
