When the end time is approaching, many bad things will be happening. It is only a sign that they are taking place now. See the kind of leadership is out there. There is conspiracy in every corner. Love for one another is quickly diminishing. Look at the war between Russia and Ukraine, very much unnecessary.
Well, what is the Scriptures is telling us of today’s times, you only have to look at Trump and his plans. Man would turn against themselves and start killing each othe. Look at wars that ate going on in the world each one is mentioned in the Scriptures in full details. Yes a very good and important question, we are living in the later days as it was written.
“Near” is a relative term and could mean tomorrow, next week, next month or year, five years from now,etc.
While no one on this earth knows when time will end (although some people claim to know) it seems that many of the things described in Revelations are happening or have happened in recent years.
Will time come to an end next year, in 10 years, in 2050 or even tomorrow? I have no idea. Only God knows the answer!

And great answer, Teresa! I like how you elaborated on the word “near”! And you are right none of us know when the time will come, but do you know for sure that you are going to be with your creator? (I try to word the religious questions so that other religions will answer too). I have Jesus Christ in my heart and I work with him everyday, so I know that I will be at those pearly gates when I die! Hallelujuah!!!
