We are equal but we are not the same.

no we are not equal nor are we meant to be. men are men and omen are women. it takes all types to to make this world go round. that dosen’t mean that one is better than the other we were built for different things. equal respect is the important thing
I agree and thank you for sharing your comment

Yes 🙌 Men and women have the freedom to make choices without being limited by societal expectations. Everyone has access to the same opportunities and should be treated fairly and with respect, regardless of gender.
Thanks Iwona for sharing your comment
I do not believe men and women are equal

I think we are equal but not always treated that way. For example, in medically women may struggle to get doctors to take them seriously.

I think men and women are equally different from each other and in my opinion there’s way to much stereotyping in this world.. I’ve known women stronger than most men I’ve known men that have better cooking skills than than a women I guess that it would really depend on on what people consider equal
Thanks Dianna for sharing your comment
In my opinion Man and woman are not equal men need to support his wife when she have children
I think that men and women are different in many ways but, in my opinion, equal spiritually thank you Jean for sharing your comment.
Yes, we have moved on from the days of oppression and we can all do the same things

So I think men and women are equal in that they should both be treated with the same level of respect and recognition. However I believe God created men and women to have their separate strengths to help compliment each other. I don’t think one is better than the other but their are characteristics each have that the other does not. Now of course our society says a whole lot of things when it comes to male and female equality but I’d be typing for days if I tried to point all of those out. In conclusion yes God created them equal, yet with different qualities and strengths.
Yes, I absolutely agree with you that men and women are equal in some ways but different in other thank you LaShawnda for sharing your comment.
I don’t believe men and women are equal. For starters, we are physically build differently and that in itself makes us different. Example women are more nurturing than men and that stems from them being mothers.
Also, men are more wired as protectors.
Be as it may, one gender isn’t superior to the other, just that our gender make up are different
Abayomi – I pretty much said exactly what you said. Yes, I get the genetic makeup of men and women are different. But we are “equal” in that one is not better than the other. Even the Bible says there is no male nor female in God. Yes my husband is the “head” – but I’m not beneath him but beside him with Christ over us and our children. He is also a very nurturing and caring father and husband. Men and women are meant to compliment one another with our unique differences and qualities that God gave us.
Of course I think we’re equal. Men and women need each other.

I think both are equally important to human life. Can’t exist without the other and I think men and women should be treated with equal respect and be treated equal in society.

Men and women are equal in many ways. However, both have their strengths and weaknesses.
I agree Jill thanks for sharing your comment
Thank you for the question, Jacqueline. When I first read it, I had so many thoughts from my personal experiences rush through my head.
Men and women are not equal in some ways such as physical strength and pay. In other ways we are equal, but there are certain aspects of each gender that shouldn’t be equal in my opinion. I wouldn’t want to have the strength of a man, and I wouldn’t want a man who isn’t capable of protecting his family. So many differences. . . And most (but not all)of them are positive to my way of thinking 🤔

You’re welcome Jacqueline and happy Friday ☺️
I am a strong believer that women can do whatever a man can do BUT…… I feel like older generations have different beliefs which if strong, they pass down to their children. That being said I believe a woman has to work harder to get where she wants and to earn respect, males just automatically have that respect. I would have loved to be a 50s house wife, baking and cleaning while my husband went to work, but my husband was self employed as a mechanic and ran a shop by himself so when business picked up I was there to help and learned how to work on vehicles myself. I felt equal then but i had to hand out tools for a few years before I got there.

I believe that both men and women have a part of being equal to a certain degree. I am old school and for me personally, I don’t want to do everything a man does. However, when it comes to the workforce, the payscale should be equal pay for both for the same work being performed. I believe in God, man, woman and child in that order.
Yes in that order God, man, woman, and then child Amen to that thank you Phyllis for sharing your comment
You are very welcome, Jacqueline! Have a grand day!
I would have to agree with Phyllis.
Thank you, Tiana! We appreciate your comment!
Men and woman today are equal not like before.

I believe as far as value and self worth they are equal. As far as strength and the ability to perform certain jobs each have their own strengths and weaknesses.
I see things that way too Brenda men and women are equal spiritually but very different in other ways thank you for sharing your comment
