I think it fell off during her rush to get back home before the spell she was under wore off.However,in the end,she ended up with the Prince.

well if she had been dancing with the prince, dancing too long in high heels gets to hurting so a lot of us take our shoes off when dancing .
So if you imagine she took her shoes off and then realized the time she slipped them on and started running not paying attention to whether she had her shoes fully over her heel.
