My favorite Easter meal is collard greens, roast and potatoes, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, fried chicken, corn casserole, rice dressing, and red velvet cake.
Indeed, it is Iwona. You are welcome. Thanks!
We usually have baked ham, creamed potatoes, purple hull peas, coleslaw, candied carrots, and hot buttered rolls to celebrate Easter!
Thanks for sharing.
Ohh..I love a good throwing mud fight getting mud all over each other, what fun that would be..lol.hehe 🤩😛😜🤪 Yes I agree, it’s good to respect each other I understand you, we can learn from in peace and listen to each other. I’m glad you understand me, I never use anything or any of my word as a messenger. I read and research and learn and pray for guidance and knowledge from our Father Our Creator. Thank you Iwona. Peace and love 😘💞💕
Thank you for conversation, David
I don’t celebrate Easter anymore
If it’s not too much trouble, may I ask why?
I stopped after my children grew up and moved away just didn’t feel the need to anymore
Iwona, dear first of all I didn’t accuse you, we all have done it we all have been deceived the whole world have been deceived. If you do your research you will understand what our messiah was warning us about. But, I don’t want to Interfer with your beliefs!! And I don’t want to push my faith on anyone, so please don’t shot the messenger I’m just a messenger that’s all, they are not my words I’m just a messenger!!
I understand that your intention is not to push your beliefs, but simply to share what you believe is important, and I respect that. Everyone has the free will to choose.
At the same time, I believe it’s equally important for us all to respect each other’s personal journeys, beliefs, and choices. We may not always see things the same way, but mutual respect allows us to listen to and learn from one another in peace. Let’s not throw mud at each other, but instead treat one another with kindness and understanding. Despite our differences, this is how we can live much better lives.
Instead of Easter, I observe Passover with grill lamb and bitter herbs.
Thanks for sharing. It sounds delicious. What bitter herbs do you use?
This year, we ate leaves of the romaine lettuce dipped in horseradish.
Thank you for the answer. I love horseradish.
You are welcome!
My mum cooks fish and another day we have lamb for easter break.
Thank you for sharing.
Curry fish with hot crossbuns or an seafood potjie
Tasty, thank you for sharing.
I don’t believe in Easter, and it has nothing to do with our Saviour. It’s pagan mixed with Christianity, to Sacrifice many babes and little children’s blood to decorating an egg in honour of a demon Ba’al. Do your research people the world is being deceived as it was written in the Scriptures or for some of you in your Bible
It’s a powerful and passionate perspective, reflecting a deep concern for truth and the origins of tradition. However, it’s a bit unfair to accuse me of thinking that Easter means nothing to me except decorating eggs, or that it has nothing to do with our Savior.
You see, Easter, as celebrated in the Catholic tradition, is the most important holiday in the Christian calendar. It commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, which is seen as the cornerstone of the Christian faith. Easter has its roots in the Jewish Passover, as the Last Supper
– considered a Passover meal – connects Jesus’ sacrifice with the liberation of the Israelites.
For Catholics, Easter celebrates Jesus’ victory over sin and death, offering believers eternal life.
Believe me, I know the Bible very well.
Ham, cheese, deviled eggs, cheesy potatoes- the usual holiday meal in my household.
Thank you for sharing.
We always go with a ham (Kentucky Legend) baked with brown sugar and pineapple, deviled eggs, hashbrown casserole, green beans and bacon, sweet corn with extra butter & sugar or corn casserole with Jiffy mix, Hawaiian sweet rolls and a homemade pie. Which this year, it’s angel food cake with strawberry glaze & strawberries.
You’ll have lots of delicious things on your table. Thanks for sharing.
Lamb with rice and sweetcorn and chocolate cake 🙂
Nice one, thanks for sharing, Arthur.
You’re welcome 🙂
My favourite Easter meal

Thank you for sharing, Virginia. It looks very appetizing. First, I see baked potatoes with cheese, and second, a vegetable casserole, right?
You are very right. You should try it, It is very yummy.
I’ll try it because we usually have jacket potatoes with cheese and a casserole that we used to eat, but with chicken or tuna.
I like chicken casserole too. I eat Jacket potatoes now and then

The red velvet cake is delicious. Thanks for sharing.
