The first thing I purchased was three pairs of shoes.
Yes, it was and you are very welcome!
The first significant thing I bought was a car. That was after I got my first real professional job out of college.
Thanks for sharing Jill
You are welcome Jacqueline! Thinking about the first thing I bought made me feel good ll over again about what I had accomplished at that time. Thank you!!! It is quite the motivator too!
I hate that Western World word, child laber, your mindset is of the thinking of the western world. Do you know what made me frist started my catering business. I young black American little 12 years old boy. Making a special ingredient lemonade. A white man said to the little boy I’ve never tested anything like this in his life. The the man said do you manufacture this and the little boy said yes to the man reply saying I have my own lemonade factory in my Mum kitchen. Anyway cute a long story short. The Mum and Dad work for the little boy. But anyway the white man is a manufacture with many factory in America, anyway let short the story the little Black boy now have a big factory manufacturing lemonade, selling to hotels, supermarkets and so on around America. In India, a 11 years old boy have his own factory manufacture crisp all flavours. Just 11 years old. And already a Mochi millionaire just like the little black boy in America where I got my Inspiration, from. Never not ever stop your child dreams no one is forcing them it’s their own dreams they only want to do!! There are so many child that are a already millionaire following their own dreams. In London a 12 year old boy with his own Jamaican 🇯🇲 pattie factory just 12 years old and already this 2025 in a millionaire. So you need to stop this western world mindset they have inplace on us, free yourself from this western world Manality

You are completely wrong if that is what you think about America 🇺🇸 the most corrupted and criminal country in the world. Yes Jacqueline, they support child laber and force child to do very dangerous work in Africa and many other countries in the world in order to steal their Minerals. So many children are being killed my America force child laber. Do your research. Now let forget that for now. In America 🇺🇸 you have many children who have their own business and no one is forcing them. And they make much more money then you and I, some are already milliners at the age of 12. Your mindset and thinking is of the weather world negative to kill a child dream. Read your Scriptures or for some read your Bible, and see what Yahusha says about the children’s of the world with wisdom. It was these western world with their Bible in one hand and a gun in next hand and brain wash us and is still brain washing us today. Don’t stop your children dream as they are the wonders of the world. Full is wisdom!! I started my catering business because of the Inspiration from a 11 year old child, and many of us around the world followed him and we are all adults learning from a 11 years old child. Jacqueline please change your ways from the western world that do the Opposite of the Father words!! Do your research if your want to make money, learn from these kids. Check YouTube check Google. And see how little kids are doing much better then adults and with willingness!!

I can’t exactly remember I saved up a lot when I first started working I remember people who I worked with mocking me saying I’ve probably still got my wages from 3 years ago. They weren’t wrong. 🤣
Sound like my daughter she loves saving money too thanks for sharing your comment
I bought beddings and the kitchen stuff.
Things we most need thanks for sharing your comment
It was a normal thing back in the 50’s 60’s, unfortunately there’s days thay call it child labor! Your only thinking of the mind set of the western world. Today kids allover the world are working just not in the western world.
Here in the United States they don’t allow child labor. I believe the youngest age to work is 13 and that is part-time only on the weekends because they go to school during the weekdays.
I can’t even remember. I grew up with my parents spoiling me. I never wanted to use my money and Dad would always pay. My parents bought me my car for my 16th birthday. He always kept it full of gas.
I did leave and travel to California after high school. I reckon, I had to get gas first and pay for an apartment. I didn’t last long there, too many freeways & traffic. Kept getting lost❗ Back home in 11 months.
So did you ever spend any of your money? or do you just not remember what the first thing was you bought with your own money?
I believe gas and an apartment.
We was a poor family, and I was the smart one out of my brother’s and sister, and the youngest one. It’s not really sad Jacqueline, I enjoyed what I did, working in factory’s and shops to help my parents with bills and so on, yes of course my parents didn’t like me working in fact they didn’t want to. But, I used bunck out of school and run to work. I was making good money.
That still doesn’t make it ok children are not supposed to be working anyway thank you for your comment
My first car 🚗 ( my parents were poor and couldn’t afford to purchase another vehicle for us siblings ) so I worked hard and saved my money instead of going on a shopping spree with my friends or just blowing it away, so I could purchase my own car
You had to be most proud of yourself I’m sure thanks Gina for sharing your comment
Girl I was just proud that I followed my own path instead of following peer pressure from people who claimed to be my friends. You’re welcome though
It’s not possible for me to know what question. I was working from a little child, and buying things. These days unfortunately they call it CHILD LABER, that one of the reasons my spelling is not so good I was always working as a child. So I wouldn’t remember what I first bought with my money.
That’s sad that you had to work as a child you should’ve had to do that thanks for sharing
I bought clothes and shoes.
