No, I did not serve in the military. When I was eighteen, I went to enlist in the Marines, passed the exam, all excited about this major opportunity, but when it got to the physical, I found out I was expecting a child. I did marry a military man. So, I am a veterans wife. All of my six uncles and father served.

No but a few members of my family have or is… My father was in the Navy, his father was in the Navy, his two oldest brothers were in the Navy, my two nephews are in the Army and my oldest brother was in the Marines.

No, I did not serve in the military but I did work as a civilian for the military on base. It was a great job.
