Are Jokers Ever Serious?

I think if they are smart, they will joke where it’s appropriate and be serious about what needs to be serious about. However, you will always have some that try to lighten the mood when it comes to a serious situation, and I don’t think it’s an inability to be serious, I think it’s just a processing method for them to try and make the situation seem a little less serious.

I have a good buddy that is always joking and laughing. Personally, I think they are truly unhappy and trying to deal with it in humor. I think he tries to ignore the serious stuff. Which works for him so it’s ok in my book.

There is a time and place for everything. Some may joke in times of grief,  laughter is a great medicine. Jokes, when things are being planned out or in business deals need to be done in the correct environment, when characters and end goals common ground. All about knowing when and where.

I think they can be serious when they feel the need to be.

I’m a joker myself but I can be very serious, everything in life isn’t a joke and I know when and where it’s okay to joke around. Yes, a joker can be serious! At least I can, I don’t know about others.
