Do you remember where you were on September 11th, 2001?

Yes I was at home when the horrible news broke.

I would have been in school that day, probably glued to the TV with my classmates and teachers, watching in shock as the news unfolded 📺. It was a moment that felt surreal and heartbreaking, one that stuck with me long after the day ended 🕊️.

I happened to be home and saw it on tv. Saw the live shot on the second hit on the towers. I remember having chills of fear when it was all happening.

We, United States of America was attacked by al-Qaeda❗

I was at my desk at work, a guy from our maintenance department came in the office to give me some paperwork and told me what happened. I thought he was joking until a couple of minutes later when my husband called and told me about it. So tragic, and unimaginable for those who lost loved ones.

I was on web tv ( hooked up to the tv to be on the internet) I was going back and forth watching the today show and looking stuff up online when matt L. and Katie Couric said there had been an accident with the world trade center a plane went into the tower.

I watched as people were trying to figure out how and why this happened

flipped back to the internet

flipped back to see what was being said and then the other plane hit the other tower

then all the stations said were being attacked this is a terrorist attack. then the attack on the pentagon and flight 93 in Shanksville happened. I sat there staring at the tv and praying for the lives lost, the first responders and families left behind.

I was still in my twenties, away from home looking for jobs in the city.

Yes I was at school I was in middle school around this time

Yes I remember very well where I was at home with family watching it all live on TV news, America killed themselves and put the blame of Iraq. O’yes I remember that day!!

I was not alive then. I was not born until about 5/6 years later, but I do know of this tragedy and my heart goes out to all the lives that were lost on that terrible day.

I remember watching the the horrific event on TV at home.

Panama Beach Florida on vacation, saw the news on TV

I was at work.I had been working at the New York City school system.I was actually at a high school.The student I was working with was in a wheelchair.We had to use the school elevator.The attendant told us what had happened.We were shocked and filled with sorrow when we heard that many people had died from not only the airplanes crashing into the buildings,but also being crushed by the buildings when they collapsed,and some having jumped out of the windows because they wanted to escape.I have never forgotten that day The students were very affected by 9/11.So was the rest of the world.My aunt,who lives in Haiti called because she thought that me and my siblings were victims of that tragedy.This will always be remembered.
