Working and working without rest, without offs. This with the reasons that, I want to make a lot to make the ends meet. I must be always present here, so this work become a success. You know others can’t do it better than me. Those are some of the sentiments of a Workerholic. What do you say about being Workerholic.
Our bodies need rest to remain physically healthy. Lack of rest can also cause mental health decline.
You’re welcome
Th body needs to rest at times. Especially if you just work and not sleep that can lead to mental and physical health issues.
Indeed that’s true, Virginia.
To much of anything is bad for you and your health. When you work to much put in too many hours without a break it starts to take a toll on the body. At some point you will have to pay attention and take care of yourself because if you don’t your body will force you to. You will not have a choice because your body will break all the way down to the point you might end up in the hospital I know from experience.
Being a workaholic can be harmful to your health for several clear reasons:
· Chronic stress: Overworking keeps your body in a constant state of tension, raising the risk of anxiety, depression, and heart problems.
· Sleep deprivation: Long hours often cut into rest, weakening your immune system and cognitive function.
· Strained relationships: Neglecting family, friends, and social ties can lead to loneliness and reduced emotional support.
· Physical neglect: Skipping meals, lacking exercise, and sitting for long periods contribute to long-term health issues.
Balance is key. Working hard is admirable, but sustaining your health and happiness matters just as much.

Thank you, Mitzi.
