I’ll start: I got a lottery ticket for a co-worker for Christmas and he won $40. I was slightly miffed at first, but I was super happy he got something substantial.

I’ve definitely bought a lottery ticket a few times for fun, especially when the jackpot gets crazy high. Who hasn’t daydreamed about winning big, quitting their job, and traveling the world? 🌎✈️💸
But I always remember it’s basically a cheap thrill — like buying a chance to dream for a couple of days. The odds are wild, so I never spend more than I’d be okay losing on a coffee.
So yeah, I’ll play once in a blue moon… and then happily go back to reality when my numbers (predictably) don’t hit 😄.
Yes, I have played before but I didn’t win. Some people are lucky to win but unfortunately I wasn’t. Glad I tried it out just to get the experience.
It can be fun to play just for kicks! I haven’t won anything big either, but it’s thrilling to try once in awhile. Thanks for sharing your story, Alexis!

I have played the pick 3number and 5number lotteries before never won

We play once a week and buy lottery tickets ( we’ve never won the Big Jackpots ) but we’ve have won small amounts but the most we’ve ever won was like $7,000 which went straight to bills and groceries

We buy a quick pick (computer picks your numbers) here and there. Hubby won once with so many numbers and got $100.00.
We buy more lottery scratch offs. Just the $1 or $2 ticket. We have won many times. The highest was $50.00. Usually, get $1.00 back a lot.
At Christmas I buy 80-90 scratch offs – all the same and give to our kids as gifts. I have bought them as other little gifts too.

At my old job, our technicians would ask for lottery tickets as Secret Santa gifts. Cheap, fun, amusing. It’s nice to at least get $1 back because then it feels like a free play! Thanks for sharing, Rhonda, and good luck to you on future tickets!

That’s okay too, Christian! The odds of winning the biggest jackpots in America are super steep, which makes me not want to play most of the time. But I wish you the best of luck if you ever decide you want to try 🙂
No, am not yet addicted into lottery thing. But I used to bet rarely some years back.
