That’s a straightforward but meaningful question.
I’d choose to be comfortably well-off rather than extremely rich or extremely poor.
Being truly poor often comes with stress, limited choices, and daily hardship. On the other hand, being extremely rich can sometimes bring its own complications — like isolation, pressure, or a loss of simplicity.
What many people truly want isn’t endless wealth, but financial security: enough to live without constant worry, to provide for loved ones, to enjoy experiences, and to have the freedom to pursue what matters most — without money being a barrier.
So if I had to choose, I’d aim for a balanced life where I have enough to be generous, comfortable, and free — but not so much that it overshadows the non-material things that make life meaningful.
I would choose to be poor because when people are rich, they change. They can become money hungry and try to avoid people who are lower class to protect their status. Sure, they may not all do it, but I wouldn’t want to take the chance of me becoming that way.

I’m thinking who would pick poor?
If you are rich, you do not have to be a snob or be ugly. You could share and surprise people by paying their dinner meal. 🍽 Randomly pay for the person in front of you in the grocery store. 🛒 Wouldn’t that be a nice kind surprise? 😲 You could just randomly pick a person out of the phone book (we still have a small one) and give them something big. You could do so many good things. 🎁
I pick rich and help all my family, friends, neighbors and all of the animals❣👨👨👧👦👩👩👦 🐦🦆🦚🦅🦉🐿🐄🦁🦓
