What’s the worst thing you’ve done to get out of trouble?

Called my grandma on my mother thinking she was going to take my side but it didn’t work

Lied and it worked 😊

For the most part lie which was not a good idea just puts you further into trouble

Oh, I once pretended I’d lost my voice to avoid explaining why I was late to a meeting. I even mime-acted drinking tea with “sore throat” sympathy eyes. 🫖😶

It worked a little too well—everyone was so nice, I felt instantly guilty. Learned my lesson: sometimes honesty’s easier than bad acting!

I can’t remember even one. But getting out of trouble, one needs to be wise and tactful.
