Kidney Donation?

I thank God for whoever donated their kidney it saved my cousin from having to do dialysis for the rest of his life

I’ve never was asked and I’m not going to donated any or my body parts to someone I don’t know or to any medical centre or charity organisations.

I am in need of a kidney donor because I have polycystic kidney disease which is a hereditary disease within my family. I have been on dialysis since this Christmas and must remain on dialysis until a kidney donor is found. My husband wanted to donate one of his kidneys but was not suitable and my two step daughters are still of child bearing age and in the U.K. they don’t like to accept kidneys in that situation. I would encourage everyone to consider donating their organs in the event of their death as this can be a life line for many other people in my situation and an act of kindness that can arise from an untimely death.

That’s a thoughtful and personal question.

I have not been in a position to donate a part of my body to a loved one. It’s a significant decision that involves a lot of physical and emotional consideration. I have great respect for anyone who has made that kind of sacrifice for someone else.

I have never donated a kidney to a family member or stranger

if I was a good candidate for donating a kidney I would help.

I used to donate plasma in my late teens. I stopped when I developed anemia.

I have never donated any body parts and only donated blood once.

I do not weigh enough to donate, and this worker said you just a little shy and talked me into it. It was horrible, I felt like gumbo the rubber green man. I was flimsy for hours❗❗ American Red Cross calls me to see if I weigh enough yet. I am O positive.

For a loved one in need, I would step up❣❣👩🏻‍⚕️

I never donate a kidney to a love one but if i can save someone life i will do it
