God don’t make mistakes. Whatever gender a person was born as, that’s what they were meant to be, and despite anything they think, feel or do, they will always be truly that gender that they were born, but to answer your question…No,
it is not right to allow children to determine their own gender.
Children should be told to accept who they really are. Not judging anyone, for I’m not God, but just sharing my personal opinion.
@nichole-2
I’m glad u agree Mitzi.
Love the way you think Nathan that is so true thanks for sharing your thoughts
Thanks, love the way u think too Jacqueline & you’re more than welcome.
No, God doesn’t make mistakes. And childrens brains aren’t fully developed. They can also go through phases of confusion. A lot of times these kids getting gender reassignment grow up and regret the decision. We are born the correct gender.
Amen & Amen!
Amen to that Mitzi thanks for sharing your thoughts
You’re welcome
Oh wow this could go many ways. There so many views about this. I think that a child can dress and act the way they feel. To get medically changed though, I think they should wait till they are 18. I do not judge, but then they are an adult.
The reality is that you are either a boy or a girl and just because you don’t feel like it doesn’t change that fact. I think children should play and grow and their minds shouldn’t be on things of that nature anyway they are baby’s thanks for sharing your comment
I don’t think so. I feel like children are not truly aware of the changes going on within them so they can get confused about what they are feeling. Those decisions are just like binding contracts and marriage, you can’t do it until you are an adult and even at 18 some people are not mentally mature enough to make serious decision about their life.
I agree children don’t know what they feel thank you Mayra for sharing your comment
No it can be confusing and damaging to their psyche.
That is so true thank you Erica for sharing your comment
I think, if a child feels differently about themselves, it’s good to have an open dialogue about how they feel, and try to ascertain if what they feel is legitimate, or if it’s influences in the world around them.
But as far as choosing a gender identity, that can be dangerous, as they could get ostracized for changing their minds later.
They can decide for themselves what they want to do once they’re 18.
Thank you Kathryn for sharing your comment
Yeah sure. Let them watch porn, drink alcohol, smoke, heck, let them cross the street by themselves too.
TBC the answer is NO. And the reason is, their brain hasn’t developed. Kids have never been so emotionally vulnerable as they are now. They need guidance, support, scientific facts, therapy is a con but in this instance, counselling may be advisable.
And biggest of all they need to be outside playing. Phones and iPads are destroying our children and parents are to blame.
Yes, I agree parents are to blame because they don’t want to raise their children like they are supposed to placing that responsibility on the children of which they don’t even understand. Thank you, Lee, for sharing your comment
No not at all they even shouldn’t be allowed to use a laptop or phone, Internet without their parents guide!! What is this world is coming to. Gender?? Read the Book Of Roman.
I’m with you David great question what is the world coming to? anyway thanks for sharing your comment.
