Yes, I have and it is because I was always taught to love others. We are supposed to love one another even when it is hard to. Love is what makes the world go round can you imagine a life with it?
Thank you for your thoughts and insight. It is such an important thing to have forgiveness but you need to think of your own heart to know how far you must keep something in order to protect yourself too. Thanks Again!
Ayegbayo the purpose in forgiving is so that you can let go and begin healing from it and true it does take time thanks for your comment
Jill forgiving is really an important thing to do. It is a must or else you won’t be able to move forward and as far as protecting your heart at this point the damage is done. The only thing you can do is to forgive and let it go so that you can begin to heal and in the future make a note to self that you will not make that same mistake again thanks for sharing your comment
Yes, I love every person who has wronged me. As a Christian, I try to not harvest any I’ll will feelings regardless of how someone may have treated me. We may not have the same relationship as before but I will always pray for them and love them as God requires me to.
Thank you for your thoughts. That really does help.
Jill you are very welcome! Thanks

Honestly, it’s really hard for me to just forgive and forget when someone’s hurt me deeply. I think it’s normal to feel angry or resentful, and it’s okay to take time to process those emotions. For me, forgiveness is more about letting go of the negative feelings and moving forward, not necessarily forgetting what happened or even reconciling with the person. It’s about taking care of myself and prioritizing my own healing. I think everyone’s journey with forgiveness is different, and it’s not something that can be rushed.
