The question of whether Donald Trump deserves a Nobel Peace Prize is a highly polarized debate, with strong arguments coming from both sides, centered on his unique approach to foreign policy and his actions while in office. His supporters often point to specific diplomatic breakthroughs, such as his role in brokering the Abraham Accords, which normalized relations between Israel and several Arab nations in 2020, and more recently, his efforts to de-escalate conflicts and secure ceasefires in various regions. They view his unconventional, transactional style as effective in achieving results that traditional diplomacy often fails to deliver, suggesting that any sustained effort toward peace, regardless of the method, deserves the ultimate recognition. However, critics argue that his diplomatic style, characterized by a withdrawal from major multilateral treaties and organizations like the Paris Climate Accord and the Iran nuclear deal, fundamentally undermined the very concept of international cooperation and “fraternity among nations” that the Nobel Peace Prize is meant to celebrate; they contend that any singular peace deals are offset by his broader record of geopolitical instability and his polarizing domestic agenda, which conflicts with the Nobel’s historical emphasis on human rights and democratic values, making his overall legacy too contradictory for the honor
Yes I do
I am not a great Trump supporter but he seems to be one of the few world leaders that wants to stop fighting and wars around the world instead of escalating problems
Today a peace deal has just been announced in Gaza which was negotiated by Trump. Whether you like his policies or not to you have to give him credit for negotiating this deal where many others have failed
You are right Joanne in a way but he is not doing the same for his own people. I see a lot of intimidation in his own country. I really appreciate what he is doing in the Middles East. I just wish he could do the same in America.

Well explained and very detailed. I agree with you. The truth it is difficult to understand the guy. He is very unpredictable. He is very changeable in his approach. Its true he has done what other leaders have failed to do but he is still a detactor in my opinion.
