It could also be the fact that illusions inspire that Even though we don’t hear so much about this,the hourglass figure continues to be desirable, especially in the case of women.Many have gone under the knife and engaged in other extreme things such as plastic surgery and some even overdosing on weight loss drugs.What needs to be put out is the message that anyone is beautiful in different ways and accepting themselves is important.Illusions do not build self esteem or bring happiness.

There are a variety of reasons some people may do this. I personally would not. It can start with a few minor things for some people that can become a compulsive behavior. The more they get, the more they want. They see other things that they would like, and decide it would be cool to have that modification done. Some people get them for self-expression. There are probably a long list of others.
