I worked with a guy once who had a horrible body smell! Even when he left the room the odor would linger around. I would have to spray the room in order for me to remain there. I just didn’t have the heart to say anything to him. He was such a nice guy. I just didn’t know how to tell him! I don’t know if it was his clothes or his body, I just couldn’t do it!!!
I would pull them to the side where no one else could hear and them as nicely as possible.

That would be very tough. I do not know how I would maneuver that one, but I rather tell the truth than to allow them to walk around being talked about.

I wonder if people have their own senses to “smell” themselves? I freak out with the minimalist smell of my own body… Like how do some people walk around smelling like an ashtray or musty wet dog that haven’t washed their junk in god knows when? I work in healthcare and you can only imagine the stuff that I see…
I have started a conversation about a body wash or a new body mist spray that I tried… “and you should really try it!”
I’ve often wondered the same thing whether or not other people can smell themselves. Now, that I think about it, we can smell ourselves. It may be that some are just use to the smell and it doesn’t bother them. Thank you so much for sharing and for your participation!

This particular guy did not have a wife. I believe he stayed with his twin brother who had the same problem. They both worked at the same location. They both were nice guys. I just didn’t have the heart to say anything. There could have been several reasons why they both had this problem. I really did not know them that well to get into their personal space and they were not around that long. The order just lingered after they left. It could have been their clothes, I just don’t know.
