More than once!
The first that comes to mind is when I pushed by a friend in theatre that I was NOT all that and a bag of chips. I knew I had talent, but to be told that I was not right for roles I thought I could get was…hard. But it set my expectations on a humble level and I’ve maintained that humility ever since.
Yes, the hardest truths are often the biggest blessings in disguise. They push you, shape you, and redirect you., on that faithful day I was told a hard truth—it hurt at first, but with time I realized it was exactly what I needed to grow. Not all truth is comfortable, but sometimes it’s the very thing that sets you free.

Truth can be very bitter though
