I have explained the same thing to my grandkids. I let them put items in my Amazon cart but explain it’s a list for me to pick a few.
Last couple years I have bought them those tiles that are magnetic to build. It was a big hit‼

Hi Kathryn 😊 my kids are grown and when I ask them what they want, they say “I don’t know.” Lol 🤣 they buy everything they need or want throughout the year so it makes Christmas very frustrating for me!!!
Teresa, I can imagine that would be frustrating! Maybe you could make some cookies that spell out “I Don’t Know”. I’m a smart aleck like that, so I don’t know how that would go over with your kids.

Wow! That is quite the Christmas list! A video game is the most expensive thing my daughter has asked for, and I already bought one that she and I will play together (early gift). Otherwise, we try to teach her that she may not always get the big stuff she asks for, but she is welcome to ask for it anyway 🙂
