No ma’am I don’t believe I would want either one. I was raised to be independent and to take care of myself and my family without having someone else do everything for me, plus I don’t support the idea of making someone else your personal slave.

If I could afford a live-in butler or maid, I would certainly consider it—not for luxury, but for peace of mind and more time to focus on what truly matters. Having someone to help with organization, cooking, or cleaning could create space for creativity, rest, family, or pursuing passions. However, I would only want someone in that role if it was a respectful, well-paid arrangement where they felt valued, not just hired. It would be less about having a servant and more about having professional support that benefits both sides. Convenience is great, but dignity is priceless.

I’ve already been a housekeeper. I do like cleaning. My mind gets so loud with overthinking, and cleaning calms me and clears my head. Cleaning is also satisfying to me. So, yeah, I would be a maid if I could afford to.

If I could afford a live in butler or a maid I would not want either. I’d probably spend extra time telling either one what should be done the way I’d clean or cook. Cleaning is a task that keeps me little more active, and I like to cook food.
