Hibernate mode will be good for me
Lol,that’s what polar bears do
On hibernate, you’d be sleeping for quite a long time
If my body could reboot like a computer, I would restore settings like optimal energy levels, perfect sleep quality, and a balanced mood. Additionally, I would reset my immune system to peak performance and ensure all systems—like digestion and metabolism—are functioning smoothly. This way, I’d feel refreshed and ready to tackle anything!
I loved how you sneaked in “immune system” very underrated..thank you for your submission
Nothing beats optimal health
If I could actually hit ctrl+alt+del on my body and pick what to factory reset while keeping the life experience… I’d roll back a few very specific things:
Sleep. God, just give me back the sleep I had at like 19–22. Fall asleep in 90 seconds, wake up actually rested, not this “I slept 8 hours but feel like I’ve been hit by a truck” nonsense. I’d restore the version where my brain just… shut off properly at night.
Knees and lower back default settings. Pre-30 edition. No random clicking, no “I bent over to pick up a sock and now I’m committed to this position for 20 minutes” warnings. Just smooth, quiet operation like it was when I was oblivious to joint health.
The allergy software. Whatever update got pushed in my mid-20s that decided grass, dust, cats, and random trees were all lethal threats — uninstall that patch entirely. I used to be able to walk through a park without turning into a snot faucet.
Skin repair speed. Teenager-level healing. I want the cheat code back where a cut disappears in four days instead of leaving a ghost scar for eight years.
The motivation / reward system from maybe 16–24. When finishing something small actually felt good. When “I did the thing” gave you that little dopamine hit instead of just relief that it’s over. The adult version feels like they nerfed the XP rewards by 80%.
Hangover resistance. Not even gonna pretend — I’d happily restore the college-era liver and electrolyte balancing algorithm. Waking up after drinking felt annoying but doable, not like someone parked a cement mixer in my skull.
Everything else — the scars, the stories, the random useless trivia I’ve collected, the slightly better ability to read a room, the patience I didn’t have at 20 — I’d keep all that. Just let me reboot the hardware degradation and the stupid autonomic bugs.
What about you? What exact version of yourself would you Ctrl+Alt+Del back to, and is there one ridiculous adult glitch you’d actually keep just because it’s part of the current character now? 😄
I love this submission. Bravo!!!
The ctrl+alt+del part was where I knew you really understood the assignment..your submission is splendid. Thank you Emmanuel
This is such a wonder submission, the ctrl+alt+del was all I needed to know that you knew the gravity and depth of the question. Well-done
Seth, I will make up a list for you, just hold on ok I haven’t forgotten you.
Ok david
Yes Seth, we have so may recipes for pouch, and soup that will clean and flush out the body and restart the body. We have so many of our family recipes. One day I will give you a list of ingredients.
Wow, I can’t wait for that day to come
I would restore all things involving my health. This would be wonderful if it were possible.
One would look sharp every day
Yeah, definitely. That would definitely be a plus!
But our bodies can reboot or reset, you just have to make the right respie the right ingredients. It’s the Jamaican 🇯🇲 way we already reboot or restart our bodies just like a computer.
Wow, that’s loving.
I’d love to know the recipe for rebooting you people have in Jamaica
Anytime that I have a negative events happen in my life, I turn on some music or do an activity(self care) that can reset the negative into positive or give me the mindset to change things around so that the outcome is positive. Its alot easier to reset if you are aware that there needs to be a reset.
Music is a power tool
My memory power point will need to update daily.
That would help a lot with regards to exams
If the human body could undergo a “factory reset” to restore optimal settings, the focus would be on repairing cumulative damage, optimizing metabolic efficiency, and refreshing cognitive load .
Especially cognitive overload

Ya, but what settings in your body would you love to restore
