Are there any full-service gas stations where the attendant pumps the gas for you?

Yeah you already do that to me pretty looking lady. Your so welcome Rhonda

WHATTTTT??? AAAUUUHHH?? ARE YOU SERIOUS?? REAAALLLY?? CUTE Hot Boyis-Boys?? WHATTTTT??? REAAALLLY??? Well yeah pretty looking Girly-girls thin shorts mini skirts Yeahhhh I like looking and have a big naught smile on my face..lol.hehe. Wow. That is amazing since 1949 customer can’t refill their own car. In the 80’s there used to be two old little ladies doing service filling up out car’s and washing the wincreen, but no not anymore I see thin the UK 🇬🇧  But, yes a good business idea to have pretty good Girly-girls in thin short mini skirts going Gas service and washing the wincreen in their thin bra everything on display, that would make an old man smile, well it would make day…lol.hehe

Yes, there are still full-service gas stations where an attendant pumps the gas for you.

The main spot is New Jersey, the only U.S. state where it’s illegal for customers to pump their own gas (law since 1949). Every gas station there is full-service—attendants handle it, often check your oil/tires/windshield too, and you stay in your car. It’s a cultural thing now; most locals like it, and attempts to change the law keep failing.

Elsewhere:

Oregon used to require full-service statewide but lifted the ban in 2023. Now self-service is allowed (up to half the pumps in urban counties), but stations must keep at least one attendant available to pump gas if you want it. So full-service is still an option, especially for those who prefer/need help (e.g., elderly or disabled).

A few small pockets exist: Certain towns in Massachusetts (like Weymouth, Arlington, Upton, Milford) and Huntington, New York, ban self-service, so all pumps are full-service.

Scattered independent or old-school stations in other states (e.g., some in Ohio, Maryland, or Pennsylvania) voluntarily offer full-service, often as a premium or nostalgic thing, but they’re rare and not required.

In most of the U.S., self-service is the norm, but if you’re in NJ or those specific areas, attendants pump it every time. If you’re looking for one near a specific location, tell me where and I can help narrow it down.

Not in the UK 🇬🇧 dose days of the 70’s and 80’s is over for full service at the Gas station, now these days you have to do everything yourself.

Yes of course

Uhh…kinda but they only pump the gas 😂

Almost everything has been digitarize

I wish they would bring back full service stations too Rhonda!!! It’s been so long since I’ve seen one I can’t even remember. Think I was in my 20s and that’s been centuries ago lol 🤣

I am here in New York City. We used to have an abundance of attendants at all the major gas stations. These days, the customers serve themselves after paying for the gas.I wish the days of being served by the gas attendants would return.

Yes, but not in full service as you mentioned here
