I will assume that you mean success in the profession you chose, not in your private life. Success for me is to see the people who were once your students succeed in their chosen field and develop new, original ideas, based on what you taught them. At times revolutionizing the field and showing how wrong some of the things you taught them were, when viewed from new and unexpected angles.
If success had nothing to do with money, I think it would look like this:
1. Inner Peace
Being able to sleep at night without regret. Feeling calm inside, not constantly anxious or comparing yourself to others.
2. Strong Relationships
Having people who genuinely care about you — family, friends, maybe a partner — and knowing the love is real, not based on what you can give materially.
3. Growth
Becoming wiser, kinder, stronger than you were yesterday. Success would mean progress, not perfection.
