Someone who speaks eloquently and someone who writes very well, who is smarter?

Neither of them, might lack both and still be smart

Being good at speaking or writing doesn’t automatically mean someone is “smarter.” 🧠

Persuasiveness

Quick thinking

Writing well shows:

Ability to organize thoughts clearly

Attention to detail

Deep understanding of ideas

ntelligence can manifest in many forms, and both eloquent speakers and skilled writers possess valuable skills. Speaking eloquently often indicates strong verbal communication and the ability to articulate thoughts clearly and persuasively in real-time. On the other hand, writing well demonstrates strong analytical skills, organization of thoughts, and the ability to convey complex ideas effectively through written language.

Neither is the true testify measuring intelligence, I’ve seen people that are confident when talking and what they are saying is absolute nonsense

They are both same. Just that the person that speaks is at more advantage because in our everyday life we meet different people including helpers so the ability to communicate fluently can assure you good impression at first sight or meeting which would translate to further communications for recommendation for job, relationship or anything favourable courtesy of good communication.

Neither,  eloquence in speaking or excellence in writing does not determine who is smarter.

The simple answer is: neither. They represent different types of intelligence, and one doesn’t inherently outrank the other.
