No disrespect, this is one thing I used to always say..

I learned a very long time ago to ‘not say never ‘..
bad things seem to worm its way to me.

That will be when I had a friend insisting on visiting and I refused for reasons I don’t even know but it was my one decision I took and never regretted cause I later found out the person is deceitful and can’t be trusted

yea u went with your intuition & that’s good..

can’t be too trusting of others especially by letting them into your life

Setting boundaries is hard at first, like your first breakup, but it’s necessary. Boundaries are healthy for you and the other parties involved. I love setting boundaries; it puts everything in perspective for me.

I have no regrets saying no period. It is going to affect me & me only. I respect others if they say no. No questions asked. =)
