Money is not the root of evil. According to the bible, “The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. So therefore loving money more than your life, the hunger and  thirst for money i.e going to any length to get it(do or die affair) is what is called the root of all evil.

I used to think that until I became an adult and realized what money can and can’t do for the world and people, and then my mindset shifted. It really depends on what people do with their money, to do good or evil, just like a person who buys a gun for fun or to protect their family and keep it in a safe place. It’s all subjective when it comes to opinions about any topic, but evil will always be evil. Money is not always the root of it; it’s sometimes the root of good.

money itself isn’t the root of evil, but how people relate to it can be.

I think it’s just one of the justifying mechanisms man adopts to rationalise their evil deeds
