Before I married my first husband I thought I would never find true love but he was my soul mate. He died too young. But I was lucky to have had it 2 times. So it does happen and sometimes even 2 times.

Because, most people are not interested in love but are lusting after what the spouse can offer
That is lust has taken the place of love in our current generation

Maybe because many of us chase the idea of love more than we build the reality of it. Expectations, fear, past hurt, and poor communication often get in the way more than we do.
